this one focused on lines, curves, and circles. i think the colors that i used for this composition, gave it a more vaporwave aesthetic

hello! today we did had an assignment based on creating abstract compositions. we had to make 3 compositions in black and white and then have the same compositions but with color. i think what i learned the most in this assignment is the importance of placement. understanding which shape or line is in front of another object can make the biggest difference.
i also had fun playing around with color in the compositions. it's always fun seeing how colors work together.

the composition above was created with lines and squares. i used a triadic color scheme. i think the usage of magenta, blue, and yellow kind of gave the composition a retro vibe.
